Michael Dante DiMartino (dit parfois Jef), né le 31 janvier 1898[Note 1] à Villa Clara (Entre Ríos, Argentine) et mort le 23 juillet 1979 à Avernes (Val-d'Oise), est un romancier français.

Samuel Kessel, médecin juif d’origine lituanienne (à l'époque en Russie impériale) et de Raïssa Lesk, d'une famille juive établie à Orenbourg, en Russie, sur le fleuve Oural[2].
